Our Nursery children are part of Tamar class. Our Nursery sessions run between 8:45 and 3:15 each day.
Every child is also provided with a small healthy snack and milk or water in the morning.
Each day the children have the opportunity to listen to stories, sing songs and do short maths and language activities. In the summer term as part of their readiness for school the children are introduced to phonics sounds and games.
Nursery Uniform
We ask children to wear the main Shortlanesend School blue jumper/cardigan, available to purchase from KeyWear School Uniform in Truro. Sizes for little ones are available. We request that alongside this children wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes.
To encourage children to be more independent please can you send your child in with velcro strap shoes.
Please provide your child with at least one spare change of clothes. Accidents do happen, we also love messy play and to play outside in all weather!
