Class trip to Truro museum.
As part of our great topic this term we decided to further our knowledge by visiting the museum. The trip included two workshops: making our own oil lamps with clay and discovering and handling artefacts from a Roman villa.
The children especially enjoyed the chance to get mucky making oil lamps and then exploring the other parts of the museum. There were lots of great displays about the Greeks and Romans and the children really benefitted from the chance to see and touch some great artefacts.
The children were very excited about the trip and throughout the day they had lots of questions, but also lots of answers. A great day, enjoyed by all!
