Under the Sea Autumn 2017

This term the learning will be led by an 'Under the Sea' theme.
Tiddler will be the story for the first half and The Rainbow Fish will be our story for the second half.
The children will be exploring the creatures that live in the sea and will be writing instructions for making an moving jellyfish, an information text all about under the sea animals and later in the term they will be looking at under the sea creatures and animal poems!

They will be busy in Science with learning all about animals including humans; what they eat, how they keep healthy and their basic needs.  In Geography they will be looking at the different continents and the oceans of the worlds.

In Maths, the children will be working through the maths mastery curriculum and learning to explain their answers and problem solve throughout the different areas of Maths.

It's going to be a fun term with lots of time for the parents to come in to school to watch the children in class assemblies, read with them during story time and will finish off with a fantastic Christmas nativity so watch this space!

Thank you for all your support.
